Feixiao will be one of the Wind units in Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.5 banner. As revealed in her drip marketing campaign by HoYoverse, Feixiao is a foxian character with high, pointed ears. She is depicted as a fierce combatant wearing a flurry dress, knee-high boots, and leg belts, wielding a weapon that appears to combine a sword and a gun. This weapon increases the wearer's CRIT rate by 15% and provides stacks of Luminflux. Each stack of Luminflux allows the character's ultimate damage to ignore 9% of the enemy's defense. To enhance Venture Forth to Hunt, players will need materials such as Artifex's Gyreheart, Meteoric Bullet, and Artifex's Cogwheel.

Feixiao's skill set, also leaked by Sakura Heaven, suggests she will focus on single-target damage. When using her technique, Feixiao enters the Onrush state, pulling in targets within an area, gaining a SPD boost, and one point of the Flying Aureus effect. Her skill and basic attack deal Wind damage to a single target and scale with ATK. Her ultimate reduces the enemy's toughness regardless of its weakness type and deals a specific amount of damage. Feixiao can use her ultimate after collecting six Flying Aureus points.

Her traces provide four Flying Aureus points and increase follow-up CRIT DMG by 60%. Players will need materials like Tracks of Destiny, Meteoric Bullet, and Regret of Infinite Ochema to upgrade these traces.
